KINABALU PARK, SABAH
At 4101m high, it is one of the highest mountain in South
East Asia. Visitors to the Park will have to register at the park HQ for proper
documentation.

The mountain is made-up of hard granite rock. Climbing to the peak is encourage in the early morning, thus we had to start our journey at about 3am from Laban Rata; our overnight check point. If we reach the peak early we will get to see the first sunrise. To climb Kinabalu, you should not rush so as not to succumb to mountain sickness.
TENGKU ABDUL RAHMAN PARK
One of the highlight of the trip is to snorkel at Tengku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. This is a marine wildlife protected area and such we could still see lots of colourful marine life. On our way back to Kota Kinabalu, we meet a pod of dolphin swimming close by our boat.
RAFTING AT
PADAS RIVERNot for the faint-hearted though. This is a grade 3 river for white water rafting. The train journey to the starting point of our river rafting is a journey by itself. With steep hill slopes on one side and deep river valley on the other, make our heart beat faster.
