Here
are some pix I like to share with you of our visit to the Singapore Zoological
Gardens. We took along my kids cousins Fazlina and Farid Saad. These pix
were taken from the first roll of film of our Nikon AutoFocus Camera. This
photo of Arsyad was taken by the deer enclosure. They seem so near you
can smell and almost touch them.
This
is cousin Farid taking a photo with his favourite animal, the rhinosarus.
Both of them look tough don't you think. You don't want to mess around
with any one of them. Big and strong, yes, friendly? I don't think so.
The one on the
right is Kikin's photo taken by the giraffe enclosure. She was really facinated
of its long neck and says that it reminds her of the long neck dinosaurs
that she saw in the movie Jurassic Park.
There's so many things that you can do at the Singapore
Zoo, oops, didn't mean to make it sound like a commercial.
At the jungle-gym Arsyad is having a swing of time while mummy's giving
a hand, or is she holding up his hands, mummy wants you to have fun and
yet be safe. Thank you mummy.
Here by the Baboon enclosure surrounded by the moat, the
kids pose (one of the rare quiet moments) for a photo. There was actually
a baboon sipping water behind them, too bad I can't get all five of them
on photo.
Here's
one father and son pose for the family album. My father once told me that
time seems to move very quickly when your children are growing. Now its
my moment. Just afew years ago I was holding Arsyad a like a doll in my
arms, now he's walking, running more likely, on his own. We had a swell
time at the zoo, a moment shared and treasured forever.
Psst!
Hey I just want to share this secret with you. We went to another park
that day opened to special visitors only and we had to take a helicopter
to this special park. Click on to find out where.
