This is probably the most active club and has the largest membership in Singapore. You do no need to be a registered member to join their activities (about S$60 dollars). It organizes outings every Sunday morning (usually $6 for members and $9 for non-members, depending on their cost for the outing). Also, they have indoor studio shoot twice a month in the afternoon. Their outings are more popular which sometimes have more than 60 members turning up. Almost all shots are posed and they have really taken their time and effort to do the set up.
If you already have the basic skills of photograhy (camera handling, exposure etc), and interested in taking salon kind of pictures, then this is the club for you! Many memebers have won awards in international salons.
For first timer, just hang around Geylang Lorong 27 on Sunday morning at 8am (most members would hang around the coffee shop just next to the Aljunied MRT track). You will be able to see lots of people with their bulky camera bags and tripods. Just tell them that you are new and would like to join them for their outing.
