"Hey! Have you wondered how people build those impressive floats in Chingay? Well, NUS has her version of Chingay in what we call, the Rag Day! Every faculty will build a float and put up a dance performance. This is by no means a simple task especially in Science Faculty! We have one of the strongest Rag tradition and we are the defending champions for the Rag and Flag Chancellor's Challenge Shield! But what matters to you is that you will get to know many friends very very well and have lotsa fun. You will crashcourse into being a dancer, float engineer or costume designer all in a few weeks! Your NUS experience will never be complete without going through Rag! Let me tell you a secret too... alot of my friends found their other halves while being involved in Rag, muahaha!!"
