Beautiful midi musics
Years ago, someone taught me about playing midi files on my pc. It did not catch my attention because what I heard then was some stiff computer generated tones that can hardly qualify as 'music notes'. A year ago, this situation changed when I got hold of this game called "Final Fantasy7" that came with a software synthesizer S-YXG70 by Yamaha. What it means simply is that the XG70 software reproduced the sound of instruments in a orchestra & play it on your computer as if you're listening to the whole orchestra playing. Well, this still does not amaze me until the game unfolded & I heard the beautiful orchestra music from FF7. I realized then that it did not catch my attention years ago because of a lack of professionally produced & beautifully composed music. FF7 changes my entire view on the midi format. To realize what beautiful music have been created in the FF7 series, I'll recommend one of the following to reproduce the sound of the instruments truthfully:
When you've got one of the above, sample some of these music & you'll know what I mean. You will still be able to sample these music with a soundcard that did not have a "truthfully" recorded wavetable. It will probably produced a very beautiful melody albeit with some awkward tunes...anyway...just trying to share some very nice music with you..... never mind the techinical stuff....
By the way, in the background is the character Aerith from FF7. The graphics is simply amazing too.
