Quake3test is one of the most advanced 3D games around after Quake2, HalfLife & the likes of top notch 3D shooter games. Quake3test as it's name implied is a test version "DeathMatch" play on a local network or over the internet. Since I managed to put up a Linux Operating system after much hassle & Linux is notorious for lacking support in games, I decided to give it a shot since I have a "Oooh soo faithful" Voodoo2 with me.....what do you know.....I actually managed to get Quake3Test running on Linux with my Voodoo2 & even overclocked my celeron cpu to 504Mhz & playing the game over the internet. The Windows version of the game should be much more simpler to be set up & supported many other graphics card as well. Linux version only supported all the 3dfx, Voodoo, Voodoo2, Voodoo Banshee & Voodoo3. Below is a screenshoot of me "coyote" gunned down & lying on the floor ....errr... obviously not very good at this, never was....
Also thanks to my friend Keng Hoe who has a SingTel Magix line, who helped downloaded the 35Mb game files in Linux's rpm format.
