Winter 1980, a young man came to Osaka, under a study exchange program. He met a beautiful Japanese girl, daughter of a tavern famous for its yakitori. A warm friendship developed between them. However, the boy was already hitched. So, the friendship could not go beyond a platonic relationship. 25 years passed, but the boy still cherished her beauty & friendship and craved for the fine food he had in Japan. In 2007, he decided to revisit his lovely idol. He found her eventually, but not without much difficulty. She was impressed by his honesty and sincerity. To seal their lasting relationship, she taught him the secret recipe of a unique version of authentic yakitori, that was handed down over several generations. In gratitude, he promised to help develop their brand product into a franchise overseas. Thus, was born
