THE LOGO PROGRAMME

To obtain the logo, an evaluation must first be done on your system. This is carried out in 2 key areas:

1. Hardware

· Verify if BIOS is Motorola MC146818 compatible

· Verify if progression from December 31st, 1999 to January 1st, 2000 occurs via the BIOS without user intervention or rebooting the system (Real-Time Progression).

· If real-time progression fails, verify if manual setting of (21st) century is supported.

· Verify the recognition of a leap year, when appropriate, for the years 2000 through 2009 inclusive.

 

2. Software

· Examine if residential software within the system are Year 2000 Compliant. This is achieved by verifying with the original software providers of their product compliance status. Y2K shall not be liable for the accuracy of such information provided.
