Hi! I'm Colin and am also the web master of this little web page. I'm a 24-year-old Singaporean male who is currently studying 5th Year Medicine in the NUS (National University of Singapore). Previously, I studied in the local schools at St Joseph's Institution (SJI) and National Junior College (NJC) to complete my O-levels and A-levels respectively. Here's some of my interests:
Latest Developments Its been more than 4 years since I was baptised in Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Upon retrospect, it has been a year which witnessed a great amount of growth in my spiritual journey with God. Other than finding a great bunch of folks in my cell group in church, knowing my congregation members better, God has also been featuring ever more prominently in my life. Indeed, God has answered my prayers. I still fondly remember that during my baptismal class, I had prayed that God will continue to reveal to me His power and lead me to do his will. I prayed that He will continue to keep the flame in me burning and not let it wane in the passage of time. By being a committee member of NUS Medical faculty's Medical Christian Fellowship (MCF) of my class (2000-2005), I got to witness how much the Christian community has grown. This was despite entering our clinical years, where classmates saw less of each other as we are split up into clinical groups of 7 to 9 individuals, where we will spend most of our learning experience together for the rest of our undergraduate years. As a committee, we feared that MCF will disintegrate and lose its original bonding, that we won't be able to keep our goal of supporting fellow Christian brothers and sisters, let alone share the gospels with pre-believers, especially amongst our classmates. However, God is indeed great. The members of MCF didn't allow time lost with each other to lose heart, but continued to remain enthusiastic to serve God together within our faculty. We also saw how more and more brothers and sisters, even the most unlikeliest individuals, come to receive Christ. Just being able to witness events which I never thought were possible actually happening in front of my eyes really stroke that fire in me to continue to pray and work. Ora et Labora!
